We did a home pregnancy test (HPT), and it was negative.
I was slightly less hopeful this time around, only because last month’s didn’t work. It’s hard not to get your hopes up, but I was so disappointed after the first time. I feel like if I just assume that it isn’t going to work, then it will be easier to deal with a negative pregnancy test.
We just need to keep remembering that it takes some couples 6-12 times before it works for them. We’ve only done two cycles, and we’re already feeling like we want to move on to the next step. The rational part of me says that we need to keep giving the natural intrauterine inseminations a good shot before stepping up to other more aggressive (and more expensive) methods.
